SALES ENGINEER
Location: High Wycombe, UK

We are expanding our sales office in High Wycombe. The Sales Engineer will be selling a range of engineering solutions, systems and equipment used in the offshore oil and gas and shipyard industries to drilling contractors, oil companies and engineering/design firms; managing existing accounts and identifying and developing new business opportunities. Work will include frequent travel to meet customers throughout the UK and Europe. In due course, travel may also include Russia, Africa, the US, Mexico, South America and South East Asia. Successful candidates will have the following:
  • Mechanical engineering background and/or experience working with the engineering industry.
  • Sales experience in the oil and gas or related industry and a demonstrated history of successful international capital sales and service.
  • Effective communication skills with a professional attitude and appearance.
  • Strong presentation and delivery skills.
  • Exceptional client servicing and relationship development skills.
  • Ability to be proactive, self motivated and to work autonomously with high levels of drive, determination and follow through.
  • Ability to travel internationally (sometimes on short notice) and be away for several weeks at a time.

Compensation & Benefits: A basic salary of between £40k-£45k depending on your level of experience, plus a benefits package including a car or car allowance. Candidates who are currently residing and eligible to work in the UK will be preferred.

MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER - with Emphasis in Equipment and Machine Hydraulics
Location: Santa Barbara/Goleta, California

Successful candidates will have the following:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
  • Three (3) or more years of successful and increasingly responsible experience in the design and analysis of heavy equipment or machinery using industrial hydraulics
  • Familiar with industrial hydraulics standard design practices
  • Highly proficient with CAD and 3-D design tools (with industrial hydraulics design practices
  • Experience in electrical control systems a plus
  • Experience in strength of materials, stress analysis and design for manufacture a plus
  • Highly creative and able to develop ideas into working products and to conceptualize ideas in three dimensions
  • Results-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time
  • Strong analytical, customer service, and oral and written English communication skills

MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER - with Emphasis in Structural Design and Stress Analysis
Location: Santa Barbara/Goleta, California

Successful candidates will have the following:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
  • Three (3) or more years of successful and increasingly responsible experience in the design and analysis of heavy equipment or machinery in a manufacturing environment
  • Highly proficient with CAD and 3-D design tools (AutoCad and SolidWorks a plus)
  • Highly proficient with strength of materials, stress analysis and design for manufacture
  • Proficient in finite element analysis highly desirable
  • Experience in structural weldment design highly desirable
  • Experience in high strength steel casting and forging design highly desirable
  • Knowledgeable in structural design codes and standards (ASME, AISC, AWS, etc.) desirable
  • Experience in hydraulics and/or electrical control systems a plus
  • Highly creative and able to develop ideas into working products and to conceptualize ideas in three dimensions
  • Results-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time
  • Good oral and written English communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation & benefits package. Salary $70,000 to $100,000 DOE.
