BARDEX UPGRADES MOORING SYSTEM
GOLETA, California, U.S.A., February 2011

Bardex recently completed an engineering study into changing out components of a chain jack supplemental mooring system in operation on a semi-submersible FPU presently operating in the Gulf of Mexico in order that a larger sized mooring chain with higher rated holding capacity can be used to provide a higher mooring integrity for the FPU.  Bardex is pleased to announce that it has now received an order to supply the upgraded parts and new load cells.
