Bardex Corporation has recently delivered an order for a Hydraulic Power Unit for the Pride Tennessee, a cantilever jack-up rig presently drilling for Pemex, offshore Mexico. Pride has already shipped the HPU offshore to the rig. The HPU, which is designed for operation in a Zone 1 hazardous area, is dedicated to provide power to the Bardex gripper jack skidding system. The HPU skid includes a 100 gallon reservoir and a 40 hp, 440V, 60 Hz, 3-phase motor and starter.
