The relatively compact footprint and lighter weight of the Linear Chain Jack versus a chain windlass makes it ideal for offshore SPAR/FPSO Mooring and Tensioning Systems. A Linear Chain Jack recently installed on FPSO to perform the pipeline pull-in process.
